Update Complete…

February 12th, 2008 · No Comments

So some crazy shit has been reported lately about the state of our universe, and who knows what to make of it? And it’s so crazy I decided to write about it. I’m talking about cheating at slot machines. Or wait…no….I am not. I’m talking about some weird shit, weirder than cheating slot machines. Some guy claims to have invented a perpetual motion machine by harnessing something called “back EMF”. It’s Unbelievable! What the f was that? Yeah it’s so unbelievable. He’s got some crazy electronics going on but basically he has an electric motor that actually accelerates when the power is cut and can seemingly run perpetually. Wait what? Yes, his machine violates the laws of physics as we know them. At least it appears there is no explanation that fits with the laws of physics. Here’s this goofball garage scientist who has devoted his life to this. Maybe a genious maybe not. Nothing here has been independently tested yet. Still, an interesting video…

OK….I think I get all that. Just a tad scary though, wondering where that energy is actually being harnessed from… and on to more craziness…

Railgun.

Remember ERASER? I remember seeing ERASER for the first time and going “HOLY SHIT THAT RAILGUN IS TOTALLY AWESOME!” (if I was from Boston I would remember myself saying “HOLY FACKIN SHIT PAL, THAT RAILGUN IS FACKIN WICKED AWESOME!” but I’m not from Boston, I’ve been there though. Twice. Back to the rail gun. Here just watch this.

Gosh, looks like someone at the Naval Research center went to film school! Nice ball shot at the end! Wait…that was a friggin RAILGUN! It gets better, or worse depending on your perspective, that was the OLD railgun from way back in the darkages of 2006. Check out the new railgun. This picture is dated 01/31/08…looks like they perfected some things…
RailGunAnd if you think I made a fake picture or something, I got that pic from the Naval Research website here.To be continued!

San Francisco GOP Straw Poll Cancelled…too many Ron Paul Supporters show up.

December 5th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Apparently in San Francisco if you are running the GOP straw poll and you don’t like the candidate that’s being supported by the people, you cancel the whole thing. Democracy in action!

Ron Paul- Other candidates in “total denial”

November 29th, 2007 · No Comments

So after my last post bagging CNN (which they deserve) I came across this post debate interview by John Roberts (who gets credit for being nice, but no credit for pushing the God forsaken third party issue). Pigeon holing Ron Paul as a third party candidate seems like the tactic of choice. Ron Paul’s response? Everyone’s in TOTAL DENIAL.

Goodbye CNN….

November 29th, 2007 · 3 Comments

They pretty much sum it up in the comments of this story. CNN is bought and paid for and the sheep in the audience booing Ron Paul for talking sense are only the tip of the iceberg… Thanks for the shameful coverage Anderson Cooper, I used to actually respect you. I wonder if they had a meeting before this debate where they decided to push Mike Huckabee as a man of the people, every commentator after it was over kept mentioning how Huckabee was a real star….the only true “man of the people” was getting booed by the stacked audience. I feel like I’m watching Oh’ Brother Where Art Thou, it’s vaudevillian comedy hour. $4.3 million in one day people…no other candidate even comes close. Here’s a compilation of Ron Paul’s debate moments.

Boston fan’s aren’t so bad after all.

November 26th, 2007 · No Comments

Home sick with the flu today, thanks go to my laptop and my wireless connection for letting me at least do something mildly constructive. Disability awareness day at Fenway. I was always under the impression that Boston fan’s were an unsavory drunken bunch of buffoons, I stand corrected. See how they treat a Bostonian with autism when he gets the giggles midway through the national anthem. Damn you Boston….you’ve won the Series, are a lock for the Superbowl and now your fans are the nicest bunch of people around. Cheers.

Ron Paul takes on Ben Bernanke…Wall Street cheers!

November 18th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Ron Paul grilled FED chief Ben Bernanke yesterday and got cheers from the boys on the exchange. No other candidate even comes close to this kind of talk. Serious monetary reform is direly needed and fortunately, it seems that people are finally taking the man’s idea of “sound money” seriously. Where are we at when talk of “sound money” by a presidential candidate is shocking? Shouldn’t everyone of our congressmen be asking these same tough questions of our central bank? Watch the clip and see what Don Luskin, Trend Macro Chief Investment Officer and Steve Forbes have to say about Dr. Paul’s ideas. Thanks to CNBC for some great unbiased coverage.

Sound money. WE NEED IT.

Ron Paul…Terrorist? No.

November 17th, 2007 · No Comments

This past week Glenn Beck decided to stir the pot by saying that Ron Paul supporters are akin to terrorists, who may represent a “physical threat” to this country. He draws this conclusion because of a fund raising drive that took place on November 5th. Anyone who has seen V for Vendetta knows that this day is referred to as Guy Fawkes day, the day he was caught trying to blow up British Parliament with everyone inside. Granted, this man was a terrorist, but recently this terrorist was the subject of a big budget feature film from the creators of the Matrix trilogy. The film took an event from 1605 and dramatized it liberally, bringing it to a post modern fascist English state. The audience is meant to identify with the Guy Fawkes character, and it’s easy to, when you see what kind of fascism he is trying to topple. So, we Americans, those of us who have seen the film anyway, who were mostly unaware of Guy Fawkes, now equate him with an heoric figure fighting tyranny. This may be incorrect historically (he was a Catholic religious extremist) but it is the most recent depiction of this man in modern culture, so inevitably, it has an effect on public perspective.

Most people who support Ron Paul love him because he’s honest and he believes in the Constitution and he has the voting record to prove it. 100% of the people I’ve met who support Ron Paul are regular, normal Americans who are just completely unsatisfied with the current political situation. I don’t like being likened to a terrorist because I’m supporting a candidate who wants liberty and freedom for the people. I think this whole piece is irresponsible journalism on Glenn Becks part. I know the guy is a Romney supporter, but to accuse a huge portion of the American population of being a “physical threat” is just ridiculous. You can watch the clip if you’d like…its just over 8 minutes….OR you can scroll down and see just exactly who all these terrorists are that are supporting Ron Paul.

And here I present you the “domestic physical threat”…

Day two. Bears.

November 15th, 2007 · 2 Comments

No more Ron Paul photoshops, at least for now. Today is movienight day. Tonights feature includes “Grizzly”Grizzly which I vaguely remember seeing on TV when I was about 5 or 6. I remember being petrified of bears after that. Good thing there weren’t any bears in Sarasota, at least not at the beach. I remember a log cabin, or at least a big wood door, and claws. And then there’s some movie called “Prophecy” and no, its not the one with Christopher Walken. I dug around and found this…Prophecy

Is that a pigbear? Oh yeah, and I recently found out that Grizzly bear dung has bells in it and it smells like pepper…
